Young Poong Precision Corporation (YPPC) is an affiliate company of Korea Zinc,
which produces Zinc,. Lead, Gold and numerous non-ferrous metals.
Currently Young Poong group is the largest Zinc producer in the world.

YPPC was established in 1983 and started to develop chemical process pump in 1984.
Through discussions with the Duriron company in USA, YPPC finally signed a technical
license agreement with Duriron in 1986 and started to produce ANSI chemical process pumps
Having a technical license with Duriron, YPPC started to manufacture ANSI(ASME) process pumps.
After continuous technology development YPPC started to export the process pumps to major
customers in Korea as well as in global market. With over 30 year experience, we are trying our best
to fulfill various customer satisfaction by providing ASME, API and various industrial pumps.
YPPC has exported to numerous petrochemical plants in Australia, Indonesia, China, Japan,
Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Nigeria, Malaysia, Russia,
Uzbekistan, Brazil. With experience and know-how, YPPC also produces various types of
pumps such as API Pump, Vertical, Double suction, Magnetic Drive, Multi-stage pump.
We are providing satisfaction to various customers including domestic and foreign EPCs.

In addition to pump business, YPPC added valves and its automation business in 1992.
Due to market needs from process industry for more decent and quality ball valves,
YPPC started manufacturing its own ball valves designed by Best Available Current
Technology, which are covering both JIS and ANSI standards. In February 1998, YPPC's ball
valves were certified by API(certificate number 6d-0284) and ISO 9002 certified by Lloyd
in June 2000, which has been renewed to ISO 9001 in 2002. Now, it has been renown
domestically in process industry, and expanding its sales to overseas with quality
products and services.
